Author Introduction: Devpriya Shiwankar

My name is Devpriya Shiwankar, and I am from Machewa, Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh. I wrote my first story when I was in 9th standard at the age of 14. However, my journey into writing began much earlier when I was eight years old. During a Jeevan Vidya camp in Dehradun, I bought a couple of moral storybooks that deeply influenced me. Inspired by those stories, I started writing small paragraphs, which gradually developed into a meaningful hobby.

My mother has been my biggest inspiration, encouraging me to write stories centered on morals and human values. Though I am still at the beginning of my writing journey, I aim to express myself through stories that reflect the principles of Madhyasth Darshan (co-existentialism).

I have been studying Madhyasth Darshan for the past five years. One important learning I have applied from this philosophy is the concept of “right addressing” (Sahi Sambodhan), which I not only use in my writing but also try to implement in my daily life.

I have given my consent to have my works published on the ‘futureofwriting.org’ website. I have also agreed to share my stories on social media platforms, hoping that my writings inspire others and contribute to spreading moral values and positive thinking in society.
