Here’s about me
An architect by training with post-graduation from IITR, her interest in sustainability led her to work in a village in Himachal Pradesh. Her passion for eco-friendly and sustainability led her to explore many other avenues in life as well.
Even during her pregnancies she tried to keep as close to nature and ayurvedic ways of nurturing. Her wonderful birthing experience – both unmedicated water births, made her confident that natural birthing ‘is possible’. And a satisfying journey of sharing her experiences with other women began.
There was an online platform that used to provide guidance to pregnant mother and she worked with them. She realised that it’s her inner calling to work in the domain of pregnancy and Garbhsanskaar. So, she has done many courses and is a certified Childbirth Therapist and has international certification for Lamaze Childbirth Educator.
In her own words.. “Pregnancy is the time for the mother to journey from Fear to Fearlessness. It’s more about going inwards than worrying about what cradle to buy.
Having a baby in an uninterrupted, unmedicated way is the gift of Mother Nature to women”
I am Sapna Sangal, and these days I am living in Wardha, Maharashtra. I have recently started writing. My writing is based on pregnancy and Garbh Sanskar, which I have tried to express based on my studies so far.
The biggest turning point in my life was when I attended a workshop on Jeevan Vidya. This experience has always stayed with me and has helped guide the direction of my life. Even when I completed college and started practicing architecture, I would often reflect on how a design could enhance relationships or what sustainable living and architecture truly meant.
During those days, when we used to discuss various topics in the light of Madhyasth Darshan, I had no idea that I would enter the field of Garbh Sanskar. Since then, I have been inspired by many people I have met or whose books I have read, especially those who have deeply impacted my life.
I hope my writings will be helpful for those seeking knowledge about pregnancy, whether it is about what to eat to stay healthy or how we can bond with the baby that is about to enter our lives. Pregnancy is a time when a couple prepares to welcome a new life. It is a beautiful time for couples to re-evaluate their beliefs, habits, and lifestyle and to equip themselves for the next step—parenting.
I attended my first workshop in 2004, and it has been an ongoing study since then. I have been trying to live according to Babaji’s teachings and writings. Many years ago, some of my friends would ask Babaji what should be done during pregnancy, and his answer was always, “Stay happy.” He also indicated that Garbh Sanskar holds significance.
During my own pregnancy journey, I tried to understand what he meant. I read many books and followed a healthy lifestyle during that phase. Additionally, I have earned certifications as a Childbirth Therapist and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. Therefore, I try to connect what I have learned in the field of pregnancy with Madhyasth Darshan.
I have given consent for my writings to be published on the ‘futureofwriting.org’ website, but the content has not yet been approved for sharing on social media.
