In a quiet village, a kind teacher named Vidhi was loved by everyone. She taught not just lessons from books but also about living a peaceful and meaningful life. Vidhi followed Madhyasth Darshan, which teaches harmony and balance in relationships with all beings.
One day, Vidhi called her students to sit with her under a tree. She asked, “What does respect mean?” The children gave different answers. Some said it was about following rules, while others said it meant being polite.
Vidhi smiled and said, “In Madhyasth Darshan, respect means to accept the other as they are and to recognize their innate value. This applies to people, animals, plants, and even nature. When we see their role and value, we naturally treat them with care and understanding.”
To explain, she told a story. A farmer named Hemlaal had a cow that helped him plow the fields and gave milk. One day, the cow stopped working. Angry, Hemlaal shouted at it and pulled its rope harshly. The cow grew scared and stopped eating. It became weak and could no longer help.
Hemlaal went to Vidhi for advice. She said, “Hemlaal, the cow has its own nature and role in life. Respect it by recognizing its value. Care for it with love and give it rest.”
Hemlaal followed her advice. He fed the cow fresh grass, spoke gently, and let it rest. Soon, the cow became strong again and helped him in the fields.
Vidhi told the children, “Respect creates harmony. When we understand and accept others, we bring peace and balance into our relationships.”
The students promised to practice respect in their daily lives, making their village a peaceful and happy place.
